This raspberry macaron milkshake is perfect for a special treat, on Valentine’s Day or any other day. Macarons are expensive, so rather than include crushed macarons in the milkshake, I added ingredients similar to those in macarons themselves. For example, macarons are traditionally made with almond flour or almond paste, so I substituted almond milk for regular milk. If you can find macarons, they are great as a garnish for the drink. The recipe only makes one milkshake, but there’s no reason you can’t put in two straws!
INGREDIENTS
2 cups vanilla ice cream
3/4 cup almond milk
5 raspberries
Whipped cream for garnish
1 raspberry macaron for garnish, optional
red sprinkles for garnish, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour in a glass and top with whipped cream, sprinkles and a raspberry macaron for garnish, if desired. Enjoy!

COOK'S TIPS
I prefer a milkshake with a thinner consistency, but you can use a smaller quantity of almond milk to get a thicker milkshake.
