Limoncello Martini Recipe

Prep Time Cook Time Serves
5m 2 martinis

Some cocktails you look at and you just want to dive in. Well, this is one of those cocktails. Of course, you can’t really go wrong with limoncello. It has that refreshing quality, perhaps because it is served so cold. This martini recipe is quite simple but very delish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ounces limoncello (straight from the freezer)
  • 3 ounces vodka (straight from the freezer)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Lemon peels for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients except garnish in a cocktail shaker. Add some ice. Shake vigorously with the lid on and then pour directly into martini glasses. Add a strip of lemon peel to each glass to garnish and enjoy.

COOK'S TIPS

It is best to keep your limoncello in the freezer. Top quality limoncello will not freeze. Even when enjoying limoncello on its own as a digestif, it is best served straight from the freezer. The colder the better!
