INSTRUCTIONS
Fill a wine glass with ice. Add the Aperol and the Prosecco. Top with a splash of soda water and garnish with an orange slice, if desired.
Classic Aperol Spritz Recipe

This aperitif cocktail is an Italian classic and still hugely popular in the spring and summer months. I am not sure how easy Aperol is to find in North America, but if you can get your hands on some, it is worth a try. Even though the color of the drink makes you think it is going to be sickly sweet, it is actually quite a bitter taste which is lovely as a before dinner drink.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 parts Aperol
- 3 parts Prosecco or another kind of sparkling wine
- Splash of soda or seltzer water
- Orange slice for garnish, optional
