Winter White Wine Sangria

Prep Time Cook Time Serves
2h15m 6-8

White wine sangria packed with lots of fruit is a deliciously refreshing drink. I like to make it and chill for a couple hours in the fridge so you let the flavors emerge before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup pear liqueur or schnapps
  • 1/2 red apple
  • 1/2 green apple
  • 1/2 pear
  • 1/2 orange, segments only
  • 1 bottle dry white wine
  • 1 bottle sparkling wine

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large pitcher, mix together the sugar and pear liqueur. Most of the sugar will not dissolve, this is fine.

Add your cubed fruit and bottle of wine to the pitcher. Stir and chill in the fridge for 2-4 hours.

When ready to serve, place some ice cubes in your serving glass – you can use a wine glass, low ball or highball. Whatever style you like! Fill your glass with the sangria about three-quarters full. Top up with some sparkling wine and fruit from your pitcher. Enjoy!
