Elderflower and Mint Cocktail Recipe

Prep Time Cook Time Serves
5m 1 cocktail

A simply refreshing cocktail on a warm day. If you prefer vodka to gin, go ahead and substitute it. If you haven’t discovered St. Germain but you like cocktails, pick yourself up a bottle of this delicious elderflower liquor. It adds a great flavor to your cocktails. Here’s another cocktail on my site that uses this liquor.

INGREDIENTS

  • a few fresh leaves of mint
  • 1 ounce St. Germain elderflower liquor
  • juice of a wedge of lime
  • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • tonic water to top up
  • fresh mint sprig for garnish
  • lime wedge for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

In a lowball glass, muddle the mint leaves with the elderflower liquor. Add the squeeze of lime and some ice cubes. Pour over the gin and then top up to your liking with tonic water. I like to garnish this with a sprig of fresh mint and a wedge of lime. Enjoy!
